When the fifth race of the day started, Jim Cook was lurking in second place three points behind Fred Herr. What a difference a race makes. Jim sailed to his second ace of the day and won the 2012 CYC Myers Cup and Club Championship.
It was a day of racing that had many of thinking "What are we doing out here?" during race one to "What a great day?" by race five. The winds built all day long and by races 3-5 had filled in nicely. Fred and Jim dominated the day winning all five race between them. Jim Higgins sailed a solid day to finish third moving up in the fifth race to overtake Tom Martin.
Thanks to Ali Kishbaugh, Sheree Enfinger, and Max Treece for running the races.
