Who We Are
The Catawba Yacht Club allows its members and guests of members to enjoy water sports on Lake Wylie, Charlotte, NC. CYC was founded in 1939 for the purpose of providing family-oriented sailing and docking facilities for members. The Club house was built near the end of Youngblood Road West on Lake Wylie in 1955. Although many aspects of the Club have changed over the years, providing family-oriented water sports for members remains the primary goal.
The Catawba Yacht Club is a private, non-profit club. Income is derived from membership fees and user fees for members.
